You can download the Xcode command-line tools in either of two ways:
To install the necessary Xcode tools using Xcode on the Mac:
Xcode 3.2.x is documented as only being for OS X 10.6.x (Snow Leopard). As far as I know, Xcode 3.1.4 is the most recent version of Xcode for OS X 10.5. Go to developer.apple.com/download and log in with your Apple ID Click on More in the top-right of the page, next to Beta and Release In the search field on the left, type “xcode” and press Enter Locate and click the appropriate version of Xcode in the list.
- Start Xcode on the Mac.
- Choose Preferences from the Xcode menu.
- In the General panel, click Downloads.
- On the Downloads window, choose the Components tab.
- Click the Install button next to Command Line Tools.
- You are asked for your Apple Developer login during the install process.

.dmg

- On the 'Downloads for Apple Developers' list, select the Command Line Tools entry that you want.
